Daily Blotter for April 18th 2024

  • 7:51 am, Disorderly Conduct, Waisman Center. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct after it was reported they grabbed the person by their clothing and backpack before shaking them and attempting to take their cell phone.
  • 11:47 am, Lost Property, Eagle Heights. Contacted person who reported the loss of their keys "somewhere on campus".
  • 12:00 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Engineering Hall. Additional notes from previous case where person reported almost being punched by male occupant of another vehicle. Cameras in the area reviewed with safety tips to person to prevent future issues.
  • 12:10 pm, Theft/Larceny, Chamberlain Hall. Contacted person for theft of their Yoga black (Version 5 or 7) was taken from the 4th floor study hall of Chamberlin.
  • 11:32 pm, Found Property, Babcock Hall. Found property for was turned in to UWPD.
  • 3:13 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person after their former partner called concerned about the other persons mental health.
