Training
The Department has several different types of training/education programs that we offer to the university community. Most of the programs are offered free of charge and can be customized for the particular request.
Preventing Mass Casualty Shootings in a Campus Setting:

Car Seat Checks:
Schedule an appointment with one of our car seat technicians and be provided current law, instruction, and placement of car seats for your child.
Community Officer Training:
Community Officers offer a host of various training to include Badger Watch/Advanced Badger Watch, Crime Prevention/Loss Prevention, personal and physical security/safety presentations. Please contact any of our four community officers to learn more.
CPR Certification:
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation or commonly known as C.P.R. is done through American Heart Certified Instructors currently employed with the UW-Police Department. If you would like to request a class please email.
