The breakdown for the method of force reported for 2016 is: 49% no weapon used (may include holds, strikes, pressure points, etc.); 15% firearm drawn; 3% firearm discharged; 5% Taser drawn; 2% Taser discharged; 28% Medical Direction Weaponless (force used at the direction of a medical professional to control a resistive patient for medical purposes.


The breakdown for the time of day in which use-of-force incidents were reported for 2016 is: 7% between 6 am and noon; 15% between noon and 6pm; 45% between 6PM-Midnight; and 33% between Midnight and 6am.
