My name is Heather Banuelos and I'm from Ellison Bay, WI. I joined the UW-Madison Police Department in 2007. I'm currently assigned to 2nd shift Patrol. I'm a member of the UWPD Personal Protection Team, CPR Instructor, Crisis Intervention Team Member, Police Training Officer, Evidence Technician, Sellery Hall Liaison Officer and Crime Prevention Specialist.

My name is Amanda Buckley and I am the personnel sergeant at UWPD. I grew up in Wisconsin and earned my Bachelor degree in Sociology with a Criminal Justice Emphasis at UW-Whitewater. I started my career in law enforcement as a police officer in South Beloit, Illinois in 2001 and came to UWPD in 2009. Shortly after, I became a community officer with the department and then promoted to sergeant in 2012. I am currently a member of the UWPD bike unit and also coordinate the bike unit and housing liaison program. I instruct in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and child abuse. I spend the majority of my free time with my family and watching my kids play sports.
My name is Jake Lepper and I am currently a power shift patrol officer. I started with UWPD as a Security Officer in 2014, and became a Police Pfficer in 2016. I am originally from Milwaukee, WI, and I am also an alumnus of UW-Madison with a degree in legal studies and criminal justice. I am a member of our Crisis Intervention Team, I am one of two LGBT+ liaison officers for the department, and I have a leadership role in UWPDs “Pride” team. Additionally, I am the liaison officer to Sellery residence hall. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, hunting, and spending time with my dog, Francis.

My name is John McCaughtry, and I'm from the Fox Valley/Appleton area. I attended Fox Valley Technical College and joined UWPD in 2004. I'm currently the third shift patrol sergeant for the UW-Madison Police Department.

Matt has been with the UW-Madison Police Department since May 2010, where he completed his college Internship. Soon after, Matt was hired as a full-time employee and began his career working 2nd and 3rd shifts. Matt is currently assigned as the Property/Evidence Police Officer for the department. Matt is a Police Training Officer, Crisis Intervention Officer, Mental Health First Aid Responder, Evidence Technician, Bicycle Officer and active with Safe Walk.
