The breakdown for the method of force reported for the 3rd quarter of 2017 is: 59% no weapon used (may include holds, strikes, pressure points, etc.); 7% firearm drawn; 24% Medical Direction Weaponless (force used at the direction of a medical professional to control a resistive patient for medical purposes); 7% Taser Drawn; 3% Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Drawn.

The breakdown for the time of day in which use-of-force incidents were reported for the 3rd quarter of 2017 is: 3% between 6 am and noon; 31% between noon and 6pm; 28% between 6PM-Midnight; and 38%
between Midnight and 6am.
