The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act is a federal law enacted on October 28, 2000, that tracks convicted sex offenders enrolled at or employed by institutions of higher education. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections supplies this information.
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has supplied the UW–Madison Police Department with the following names as being on the registry as of 05/02/24:

- Ortese Lomax
- Joshua Lynch
- Michael Paider
- William Riese
Once UWPD is informed that a registrant is no longer enrolled or employed at UW–Madison, or their registry status changes, they will be removed from this list. If you believe you or someone you know has been included on this list in error, please contact us.
