6:06 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Lot 7. Contacted person after being called in by Transportation Services sitting in the southwest stairwell. Person verbally warned for smoking in the stairwell and left on foot without incident.
7:08 am, Graffiti, Middleton Building. Graffiti in the second-floor men's restroom.
5:42 pm, Theft/Larceny, Witte Hall. Contacted person regarding their bike being taken from Witte Hall bike rack on the Lake St side.
6:43 pm, Other, Memorial Union . Protests - While monitoring the protests outside the Memorial Union, UWPD was alerted to a disruption by protesters in the event at Shannon Hall. Union staff warned the protesters, but was unable to gain compliance. The disruption was determined to be unlawful, and subjects were escorted out.
7:30 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Library Mall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Disorderly Conduct after they drove a Tesla Cybertruck onto Library Mall. Suspect cited for Reckless Driving-Endangering Safety and UW Code Operating a Motor Vehicle off a Roadway.
8:27 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Grainger Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Disorderly Conduct, Vagrancy, Selling - Peddling - Soliciting Prohibited (x2), Unauthorized Presence, and Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice after they were reported as aggressively, boisterously, and indecently soliciting contributions from students studying in the Business Library and refusing to leave when asked.
10:25 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person who stated they were concerned about another person experiencing a mental health crisis.
