Both suspects in this case have identified themselves and are in the process of speaking with investigators of the UWPD. The department would like to thank the community for the help and support. The investigation is continuing.

The UW-Madison Police Department is looking for information on individuals who damaged property in the Memorial Union early Tuesday morning.
At about 12:30 AM, staff members of the Memorial Union located two subjects inside the building who did not appear to belong and attempted to confront them as to why they were in the building after it was closed. The subjects left the area and it was later discovered through video surveillance that they had been in a construction area and damaged property inside the building.
The UW-Madison Police Department is looking to see if someone in the community can identify either of the individuals for the surveillance photographs. If you know who either of these subjects are, please contact the UWPD at 608-262-2957 or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
