UW-Madison’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is comprised of department stakeholders throughout campus and is managed by the UWPD Emergency Management Unit. The EOC is activated when a natural or person-made disaster or emergency occurs on campus. Our role is to support the on-scene response to an incident and facilitate the recovery of our campus community.

EOC Training & Upcoming Dates
Biannually, our Emergency Management Unit hosts an Emergency Operations Center training for all EOC members to attend. Typically, this training is a tabletop exercise with operational periods and covers what it looks like to work through a full activation of our EOC. Training types and scenario will vary.
