- 3:12 pm, Theft/Larceny, MFCB. Returned call to person regarding theft of a zip up and key fob on 06/07/2024.
- 7:55 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Highland Ave & Observatory Dr. Contacted persons for a hit and run accident.
- 2:42 am, Other, Local Hospital. Request for Assistance - Assisted hospital security with person experiencing a medical crisis.

- 4:12 pm, Theft/Larceny, WIMR. Contacted person regarding a laptop which was stolen sometime last week by an unknown suspect.
- 7:25 pm, Criminal Damage, Wingra Springs Lot. Contacted person who reported their car was parked in the Wingra Springs lot today between 3:10 PM and 7:20 PM and was vandalized.

- 8:31 am, Bail Jumping, Memorial Union. Contacted/Arrested (Book and Release) person for Trespass Remain After Notice after Memorial Union staff reported finding them in the building them being served a ban letter.
- 10:57 pm, Other, Local Hospital. Emergency Room Assist - hospital emergency room went into red status following shooting with 2 victims in the City of Madison.

- 2:05 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Contacted person to facilitate blood draw for Marquette Co. Sheriff's Office and signed OWI Search Warrant received.
- 2:17 pm, Graffiti, Arboretum Buildings. Contacted persons after they reported finding anti-black and homophobic graffiti between the K4 and K5 trail heads.
- 6:40 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing a mental health crisis.
- 12:08 am, Operating While Intoxicated, University Bay Drive. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect.
- 12:54 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W Johnson Street. City of Madison Police responded to a shooting investigation with multiple victims. UWPD assisted with scene management and at local hospital.

- 12:48 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Contacted Rockford Police Department regarding patient being treated at local hospital.
- 8:51 am, Other, Local Hospital. Request For Assistance - Transported person to residence.
- 9:02 am, Theft/Larceny, Raymer's Cove. Contacted person after their Ford Escape was broken into while they were hiking a path east of Raymer's Cove parking lot between 8-9am.
- 11:02 am, Theft/Larceny, WARF. Contacted person who reported their unlocked sky-blue road bike (unknown make/model) was stolen from the north side of the WARF sometime between 0900-1030 on 6/7/24.
- 2:44 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. UWPD Confirmed alarm, confirmed secure and no issues.
- 2:55 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
- 10:47 pm, Theft/Larceny, Memorial Union. Contacted person regarding theft of backpack with a gray MacBook Pro and a gray iPad Pro with a black keyboard attachment at the Memorial Terrace.
- 11:49 pm, Operating While Intoxicated, N. Frances St. & Conklin Place. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party person for operating without lamps lit (reason for stop), OWI 2nd, PAC 2nd, OAR, operate after registration suspension, UAL 2nd, possess drug para, possess THC, and possess open intoxicants.
- 2:48 am, Warrant Served, Humanities. Contacted person initially for sleeping on sidewalk. Return of information resulted in warrant concerning felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Person Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person.

- 9:02 am, Found Property, Lowell Center. Contacted person for credit cards they lost.
- 10:11 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Contacted NYPD Detectives regarding emails from local resident.
- 10:59 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UW Milwaukee. Assisted UW Milwaukee police with mutual aid crowd control/protest operation at Regents meeting. Arrested/Released person for disorderly conduct.
- 1:28 pm, Warrant Served, Johnson & Frances Streets. Stopped person who is the registered owner of the vehicle they were driving as they had an active felony warrant out for their arrest. Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for outstanding warrants.
- 1:30 pm, Death Investigation, Location Redacted. Death investigation ongoing.
- 2:49 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Contacted person at local hospital emergency room for legal blood draw for Adams County.
- 3:06 pm, Theft/Larceny, WIMR. Contacted person reporting credit cards were taken from her cubical in the Research Offices between 12:30p and 2:30p.
- 4:11 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. PT being transported to local hospital, no police assistance needed.
- 6:51 pm, Theft/Larceny, University Hospital. Contacted persons reporting credit cards were taken from the break room.
- 12:39 am, Operating While Intoxicated, Park St & Braxton Place. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for OWI 1st, Speeding 47/25, possess open intoxicants, UAL 1st, Absolute sobriety and County drug paraphernalia. Reason for stop was excessive speed 47/25. Observed open intox (two liquor bottles and one open beer) upon attempt to issue speed.
- 12:48 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Still ongoing at time of briefing release, no disposition at this time.
- 2:45 am, Operating While Intoxicated, University Ave & Schmitt Pl. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for OWI 1st, PAC, and speeding (40 in 25 mph).
Daily Blotter for June 6th 2024
- 10:08 am, Disorderly Conduct, Location Redacted. Contacted persons who were near the entrance from Mills St. While in the hallway they were disturbed by a person shouting experiencing a mental health crisis.
- 5:14 pm, Fraud, Chemistry. Contacted person reporting their black leather wallet was stolen from their office sometime between 8:45am and 4:50pm.
- 5:54 pm, Damage to Property, Lot 67. Person called to report damage to SW exit gate arm.
- 12:46 am, Criminal Damage, Lake Path. Contacted person who reported a grey SUV with a bike rack on the back driving at a high rate of speed on the lake path near Chamberlain House. Vehicle also traveled through the Memorial Union Terrace lake path at a high rate of speed.

- 4:47 pm, Theft/Larceny, Lot 29. UPDATE ON CASE - Person reported secured black Sondors Fat Tire E-Bike, brown Bern Helmet, and black cable lock ($30.00) stolen from south west side interior bike rack. Investigation led to identification of suspect.
- 8:45 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Local Hospital. Person was contacted experiencing a mental health crisis.
- 12:26 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Engineering Hall. Transported persons after they tripped on uneven sidewalk and needed medical attention.
- 2:56 pm, Theft/Larceny, Kohl Center. Contacted person who reported an Athletics portable radio was stolen during a basketball game in December and needed police report.
- 7:12 pm, Warrant Served, Lot 40. Stopped person operating motor vehicle for suspend registration and theft from dumpster. Persons admitted to taking property from dumpsters on campus, thefts from Charmany Farms. Both suspects Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail.

- 9:08 pm, Damage to Property, Elvehjem. Rain water leaked into rooms L114 Art storage and L101 Art prep room, Pictures taken, Servpro called for cleanup, cleanup done.
- 10:52 pm, Emergency Detention, Local Hospital. Contacted persons for emergency detention of patient at local hospital.

- 12:54 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Camp Randall Stadium. Contacted persons after found by Gate 1 fence attempting to enter Camp Randall.
