10:15 am, Found Property, UWPD. Person turned in a Ruger 9mm magazine containing 3 Hornady 9mm rounds found in a plastic bag in Lake Wingra while kayaking.
11:37 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lathrop & Park Street. Contacted person who reported striking another vehicle during a parking maneuver.
4:03 pm, Check Person, Location Redacted. Convey Mental Health Evaluation - Contacted person after a panic alarm activation due to their disruptive behavior.

7:11 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Bakke Recreational Center. Transported person to their vehicle at Lot 59 after they injured their ankle.
7:53 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Contacted by hospital Med Flight nurse reference patient in ER who was involved with the Town of Beloit Police Department.
8:30 pm, Operating While Intoxicated, Highland Ave & Observatory Dr. Contacted/Arrested and released to responsible party for OWI 1st.
8:37 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local hospital. Assisted Middleton Police Department in arresting suspect for Child Neglect in the ER lobby.
10:46 pm, Other, N Randall Ave & Engineering Drive. Possession of THC - Cited person for operating without a valid DL. Verbally warned for possession of MJ, violating red traffic signal, non-registration of auto, and various equipment violations.
3:44 am, Other, Lot 63. Possession of THC - Verbally warned suspect for possession of THC after hospital security called for a welfare check due to person walking around the hospital grounds, including the ER ambulance entrance.

5:29 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Conveyed person the north transfer point at their request after they were repeatedly escorted off local hospital property following being continually discharged and not leaving the area.
12:00 am, Graffiti, Monroe Street. During patrol, found new graffiti on Arboretum shed in North Wingra Woods section, adjacent to Wingra Park.
4:18 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Picnic Point. Assisted MFR, no police assistance needed.
4:52 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person at local hospital ER, ref 911 call for a report of being stalked.
8:59 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Location Redacted. Weapons called toned out for a shooting in Fitchburg with possible gunshot victims. Observed 2 vehicles at a high rate of speed entering Hospital Emergency Room parking lot containing GSW victim and victims mother.
12:16 am, Warrant Served, W Johnson & N Carroll Streets. Traffic Stop - Stopped person for operating with suspended registration. Observed furtive movements before approaching the vehicle. Both parties released without incident.

1:10 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, University Bay Drive. Person transported by MFR to hospital after heat-related illness.
5:55 pm, Warrant Served, Science Hall. Arrested/booked/released to Dane County Jail suspect for reference of probationary warrant. Cited for 18.11(7)(b) for Criminal Conviction on University Lands prohibition, ref active State University ban resulting from prior UW criminal vandalism charge.
6:36 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Dispatched to local hospital and contacted person who was discharged but requesting transport to detox or jail.
1:59 am, Other, W Johnson & N Mills Streets. Stopped/Verbally warned person for disregarding traffic sign (wrong way on W Johnson). Detained due to being uncooperative.

Weapons Violation - Arrested, Cited, Booked into Dane County Jail suspect for Felon in Possession of Firearm, Conceal Carry Weapon, Going Armed While Intox, OWI 1st, Fail to obey red traffic signal (Reason for Stop), Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed, OWL, and Dane County Possession of THC.
11:46 pm, Information, Monroe Street. Person flagged down officers at Kwik Trip to report a possibly drug related altercation between her and two other persons that occurred on the Southwest Commuter path and/or somewhere near the Smith basketball court.
3:05 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Babcock Dr & University Ave. Contacted person after being seen attempting a somersault and falling to the ground. Provided ride to residence.

3:07 pm, Information, UWPD. Spoke with person who reported harassment that has been occurring for over a decade. Investigation continues.
3:13 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Received a cyber tip.
6:24 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Bakke Recreational Center. Contacted/medically conveyed person who fell and hit their head on the ice rink.
8:03 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location redacted. Contacted person after they entered Hospital ER demanding to see a doctor or they would kill themselves.
8:48 pm, Check Person, Memorial Union. Contacted person after they were located by Union Staff at the Memorial Union due to current ban letter.
2:50 am, Operating While Intoxicated, University Ave & Joyce Erdman Place. Stopped/arrested/released to RP suspect for deviation from designated lane, second 1st offense OWI, and second 1st offense PAC.

9:20 am, Threat Assessment, University Hospital. UW Hospital`s public relations email account received a message of concern and requested a police report to be filed.
12:26 pm, Emergency Detention, Location Redacted. Transported person to Winnebago after evaluation from Psychiatric Dr. and Journey crises that person was a harm to oneself.
1:15 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. Door secure, no issues found.
10:26 pm, Drug Violation, Highland Ave & Observatory Drive. Stopped/Verbally Warned person for operating without required lamps lit during hours of darkness. Cited passenger for County possession of THC and possession of paraphernalia.
1:11 am, Other, W Gorham St & Wisconsin Ave. Traffic Stop - Stopped/verbally warned person for driving while intoxicated, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, driving on a suspended license and suspended vehicle registration. Person released to a responsible party.

2:55 pm, Criminal Damage, HC White. Located "faggot" scratched into the floor screen panel of elevator 1 at HC White.
6:37 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Iphone 14 turned over to UWPD dispatch by an individual who was scuba diving in Lake Mendota near the terrace yesterday (5/21/2023).
5:21 pm, Theft/Larceny, Local hospital. Spoke to person who wanted to report that their child’s dark grey/black sweatshirt was stolen from ER when they left it after being discharged.
10:31 pm, Other, Vilas Hall. Closing Hours Violation - Contacted/Cited person for Closing Hours Violation.
1:06 am, Other, Union South. Closing Hours Violation - Cited person for UW Code: Closing Hours after they were located in the south stairwell that accesses Lot 81.
1:24 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W Dayton & Lake Streets. Responded to assist MPD with high risk stop for a stolen auto. Suspect was taken into custody and car was cleared.
