  • 1:35 pm, Theft/Larceny, Van Hise Hall. UPDATE from previous days briefing - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Theft and Theft by Fraud.
  • 9:45 am, Theft/Larceny, Nicholas Recreation Center. Person reported their cell phone holder was stolen off their bike.
  • 10:47 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported patient to local hospital, no police assistance needed.
  • 1:00 pm, Information, Memorial Library. Contacted persons in Quiet Study Area in basement after they were causing problems for staff, individuals left area without issue.
  • 4:22 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported patent to local hospital, no police assistance needed.
  • 5:48 pm, Found Property, LaBahn Arena. Conducted foot patrol of area after person reported suspicious individuals around bike racks, electric scooter recovered, placed into UWPD property and alcohol also found was disposed of on-site.
  • 7:10 pm, Other, MSC. Closing Hours Violation - Contacted/Cited person for UW Code Closing Hours after being located in the building after posted closing hours.
  • 11:49 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
  • 1:10 am, Graffiti, Lot 46. Contacted person for a report of vandalism in lower level stairwell of lot 46.
  • 4:19 am, Graffiti, Humanities Building. Contacted person for a report of vandalism for stickers on elevator 3 of Humanities Building.
  • 4:39 am, Bail Jumping, Humanities Building. Contacted/Verbally Warned persons for Unauthorized Picnicking or Camping after they were found asleep with blankets. One person was arrested/released with criminal citation for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping after being found within the State Street and Langdon Ban Area contrary to the conditions of their release on a Dane County Case, and other person Verbally Warned for UW Possession of THC.
