- 8:09 am, Criminal Damage, Lot 29. Contacted person regarding vehicle that was damaged while parked in Lot 29 by another person in a UW Fleet vehicle.
- 9:00 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
- 10:10 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR responding to location for person needing medical care.
- 10:39 pm, Bail Jumping, Park & Dayton Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for IID violation, obstruction, bail jumping and verbally warned for operating without required lamps lit.
- 11:13 pm, Other, Lot 91. Check Suspicious Vehicle - Contacted/Detained person after locating a firearm in plain view on the floor board of the driver seat of their vehicle parked in Lot 91. Secured firearm during contact with persons for officer safety and released occupants back to vehicle following contact.

- 8:04 am, Information, Lot 75. Contacted person regarding another person operating a vehicle that almost hit her on her walk into work in Lot 75 parking ramp. Person felt unsafe due to drivers erratic driving behaviors towards them.
- 8:52 am, Disorderly Conduct, Grainger Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct.
- 9:16 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 59. Contacted person who was operating a UW grounds side by side vehicle and backed into an unoccupied vehicle causing damage to parked vehicle.
- 3:50 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 29. Contacted Special Events Lot Attendant who backed their vehicle into a concrete pillar on the first level of the parking ramp due to distractions from another motorist in the ramp.
- 7:43 pm, Check Person, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited/Released person for UW Disorderly Conduct after Memorial Union Staff reported they were intoxicated, threatened to beat up staff, and yelled obscenities at performers onstage in the Rathskeller.
- 2:32 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contact person after other persons called for EMS due to them being passed out and experiencing a medical emergency due to alcohol intoxication.

- 11:28 am, Harassment, Residence Hall. Person reported unwanted comments from their roommate regarding their personal life and believes, housing is aware of situation and person offered alternate housing at this time.
- 12:00 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Assisted Marshall PD with a cell phone examination.
- 12:43 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Babcock & Linden. Contacted person who was hit by a vehicle crossing the street on west side of Microbial. Operator not at fault and stopped for welfare check. No citations issued.
- 1:58 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported patient to local hospital.
- 3:05 pm, Graffiti, N. Park Street. Numerous drawings and writings under the far west side of the bridge in white, black, blue spray paint.
- 3:22 pm, Theft/Larceny, Engineering Hall. Person reported their black sunglasses stolen from room in building.
- 4:15 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 6. Contacted person driving unoccupied vehicle registered to parents that was struck in lot 6, damage to front passenger side of vehicle.
- 5:18 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person who reported their backpack containing laptop and misc school supplies stolen or misplaced. Later found backpack in chemistry lost and found.
- 6:22 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Brooks Street & University Ave. Contacted/Cited/Released person after a report of person approaching and disturbing multiple people on University Ave.
- 10:09 pm, Operating While Intoxicated, Regent & Park Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party for OWI 1st, cited for speeding 40/25mph (reason for stop) and PAC 1st.
- 1:09 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Camp Randall Stadium. Contacted/Cited/Released persons after they jumped the fence and went onto the field of Camp Randall Stadium, cited for closing hours and bypassing a security device.

- 9:29 am, Graffiti, Vilas Hall. Located Graffiti on the inside of bathroom door.
- 2:41 pm, Lost Property, UWPD. Person reported lost Chinese passport.
- 11:12 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Assisted Adams County Sheriff’s Office with warrant blood draw on patient at local hospital after vehicle crash.
Daily Blotter for April 14th 2025
- 10:01 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Residence Hall. Verbally Warned person for trespass and assaultive behavior.
- 10:18 am, Damage to Property, McKay Center Lot. Probable Cause to contact driver of vehicle for 1st degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct after it appears the person was driving a vehicle and aimed the vehicle at multiple pedestrians in the Arboretum in what the witnesses believe was an attempt to hit them.
- 11:56 am, Damage to Property, Lot 7. Contacted person after they tried to park their vehicle in a stall and hit the concrete pillar and broke a PVC pipe that was attached to the concrete pillar.
- 12:10 pm, Other, Medical Sciences Center. UWPD and MFD pried open locker to free stuck child.
- 2:56 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.

- 5:39 pm, Check Person, Camp Randall Stadium. Cited person for building closing hours violation for entering Camp Randall under a closed gate.
- 7:24 pm, Theft/Larceny, Carson Gulley Commons. Contacted person regarding a stolen black Fly Digi gaming controller.
- 9:14 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 76. Contacted person regarding a hit and run. Upon camera playback, the damage was already on the vehicle prior to person entering the garage.
- 12:29 am, Check Person, Goodspeed Pier. Contacted/Cited persons for UAL 1st. while on Goodspeed Pier after closing and admitted to drinking at a party.

- 5:05 am, Warrant Served, N. Park Street. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for 2 Dane County Warrants and verbally warned for sleeping in Lot 29 stairwell.
- 5:07 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 46. Contacted person as they were driving they turned into a stationary vehicle that was monitoring the ramp.
- 6:32 pm, Other, N. Park St. & University Ave.. Stopped/Verbally Warned person for operating left of center/improper left turn.
- 9:53 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Jefferson County Sheriff's Office requested assistance in picking up evidence kit for their case and placed into evidence.

- 8:31 am, Theft/Larceny, Local Hospital. Contacted person regarding their wallet was missing during a short timeframe, wallet was returned however was missing money and a gas card. Report for informational purposes only at this time.
- 10:22 am, Fraud, Union South. Contacted person in WisCard Office, regarding several fraudulent transactions made on a student’s WisCard account resulting in a large negative balance. Investigation ongoing at time of briefing release.
- 1:46 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Transported person to local hospital for medical care.
- 7:19 pm, Assault, Local Hospital. Assisted Grant County Sheriff Office with a legal blood draw at local hospital and placed into UWPD evidence for safekeeping.
- 9:24 pm, Theft/Larceny, Humanaties Building. Contacted person regarding their scooter being stolen from out front of Humanities Park St. side bike racks.
- 11:40 pm, Disorderly Conduct, N. Mills & W. Johnson Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct.
- 5:05 am, Warrant Served, N. Park Street. Incident ongoing at time of briefing release.

- 5:52 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Lot 7 Grainger Hall Parking Ramp. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect to post bond for Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice after notifications for Selling, Peddling, Soliciting on University Grounds.
- 8:39 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR assisting patient with medical care, no police assistance needed.
- 9:07 am, Graffiti, Law Building. FP&M reported graffiti in a Law Building bathroom.
- 10:26 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Transported persons to local hospital for medical care.
- 10:52 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Transported person to local hospital experiencing mental health crisis.
- 11:50 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted and transported person to local hospital experiencing mental health crisis.
- 2:15 pm, Check Person, Helen C White. Issued ban letter to person from UW System's Libraries and Grainger Hall, bans effective for one year.
- 10:13 pm, Criminal Damage, Lot 63 Parking Ramp. Arrested/Cited/Transported/Released at Bethlehem Lutheran church person for Criminal Damage to property, for lighting decorative landscape bark on fire at local hospital property for the purpose of staying warm.

- 11:05 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Unidentified person needing medical assistance, MFR transported to local hospital, no police assistance needed.
- 1:40 pm, Found Property, Bakke Recreation Center. Gray DJI Mini 3 quad copter drone bearing MT3PD found by UW staff on the roof of the Bakke.
- 2:26 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, N Park & State Streets. Contacted person after they were the pedestrian involved in a hit and run accident, transported to local hospital and assisted MPD with video footage.
- 2:48 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Request from MPD to review UWPD camera footage reference two burglaries at Nitty Gritty (223 N Frances St) from 3/25 and 3/26.
- 10:42 pm, Other, Engineering Hall. Suspicious Odor - Dispatched to south side of Engineering building for white gas discharge from tank next to liquid nitrogen tank. MFD could not determine what the gas was and deemed likely not a hazard.
- 11:30 pm, Check Person, Residence Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person for obstruction, person refused to leave residence hall, gave false name and had a weapon in their possession. Personal items placed into safekeeping.
