- 12:15 am, Bail Jumping, Kohl Center. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/After medical clearance/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for bail jumping.

- 7:25 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Marsh Dr. & Highland Ave. Contacted person regarding light pole found knocked down at the intersection of Marsh Dr. and Highland Ave.
- 8:51 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person needing medical assistance after fall off of bike, MFR medically cleared, contacted family member for transportation home.
- 11:41 am, Alarm, Location Redacted. Lock down button had been pushed in room, doors were unlocked due to special event in the building.
- 12:16 pm, Information, Location Redacted. Contacted by phone person experiencing mental health crisis, also in contact with outside agency who was also in contact with same person.
- 1:37 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR had patient in ambulance before my arrival, no police interaction.
- 5:46 pm, Bail Jumping, University Club. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect after observing them sitting at a table on University Club front entrance, they have bail conditions, should not be on UW Property or in the Langdon and State Street area.
- 8:21 pm, Bail Jumping, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct, resisting/obstructing and 2x misdemeanor bail jumping after refusing to leave the Memorial Union after they were asked to leave, property placed into safekeeping.
- 10:55 pm, Bail Jumping, S. Park & Cedar Streets. Traffic Stop – Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for operating w/o valid registration, misdemeanor bail jumping, cited for OAR and IID.
- 12:58 am, Other, University Ave. & Frances Street. Traffic Stop – Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for failure to obey traffic sign/signals (going the wrong way on a one way) and for open intoxicsant in a motor vehicle.

- 12:29 pm, Information, Engineering Centers. Contacted person after they reported finding their personal documents stored on a shared computer, investigation ongoing.
- 3:02 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after persons saw them laying on the ground in the bushes just off the Lakeshore Path, MFR transported back to local hospital for medical treatment.
- 10:14 pm, Other, University Ave. & N. Brooks Street. Traffic Stop – Contacted/Cited driver for expired registration, operating while revoked and failure to install IID, verbally warned for unregistered vehicle (need to keep registration in vehicle at all times).
- 12:36 am, Other, Lot 46. Contacted person after being observed when walking away from a large puddle, they admitted to depositing urine.

- 10:20 am, Criminal Damage, Lot 17. Contacted person when they arrived at UWPD, who was reporting that someone had attempted to break into their work vehicle in Lot 17.
- 5:02 pm, Follow-up, Keyes Ave. Pills received tested positive for psilocybin, owner contacted outside their residence and issued criminal citations for possession and obstructing.
- 12:03 am, Information, Location Redacted. Contacted person regarding patient at local hospital and requesting a welfare check.

- 4:52 pm, Threat Assessment, Location Redacted. Follow up from previous case - Stalking and no contact letter issued to person on June 22, 2026, requesting the immediate end of communications directed to them, confirmation person has received letter and receipt of citations for sending repeated harassing emails, UWS 18.11(1)(c).
- 10:40 am, Information, Eagle Heights. Contacted person regarding relocation of residence and working with resources on and off campus, requested documentation of this at this time, NFA.
- 1:26 pm, Fraud, Camp Randall Stadium. Contacted person at Camp Randall Stadium regarding fraud case to create fake AOL account for upcoming sporting events at Camp Randall, investigation ongoing.
- 3:48 pm, Theft/Larceny, Kohl Center. Contacted person regarding potential theft of uniform shifts and potential “theft of time” with outside contractor, Best Security HR who Athletics hires to manage events. Determined this is a civil issue between Athletics and Best Security HR.
- 9:34 pm, Check Person, Location Redacted. Contacted person after it was observing them falling on the Dayton St. sidewalk, MFR transported to local hospital for medical treatment.
- 10:10 pm, Damage to Property, Leopold Residence Hall. Contacted person who advised they received a report of broken glass on the 4th floor of Leopold Hall.
- 12:00 am, Other, University Ave. & W. Gilman Street. Traffic Stop – Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect Wanton Fleeing/Eluding, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping x2, Failure to Obey Official Traffic Sign (One Way), Operating Without Required Lamps Lighted, Operate Without Carrying License, Violating Red Traffic Control Signal x2, and Failure to Stop at Stop Sign after driver fled from an attempted traffic stop and refused to stop for other Officers along their path of flight.
- 12:05 am, Information, University Ave. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect regarding Probable Cause established in UWPD case.

- 5:11 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
- 6:11 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported person to local hospital for medical treatment.
- 7:16 pm, Check Person, Kohl Center. Contacted person after BEST security advised he had drugs on their person, person searched with consent, drugs confiscated, released with planned follow-up.
- 8:20 pm, Other, Location Redacted. Contacted person after they left local hospital AMA, returned and potentially experiencing mental health crisis, contact if person leaves again.
- 9:39 pm, Resisting Arrest, Kohl Center. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct and subsequently for resist arrest (M) and resist arrest/soft tissue injury (F). Possibly incapacitated due to drug, but too uncooperative to fully evaluate.
- 11:40 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Lot 87. Cited persons for possession of alcohol on UW premises, outside agency made original contact for distribution of nitrous oxide.
- 1:08 am, Other, Park & Regent Streets. Traffic Stop – Stopped/Contacted/Cited driver for speed 41/25, verbally warned for open intoxicant in motor vehicle (confiscated/disposed of).
- 2:52 am, Other, Dayton Street & East Campus Mall. Traffic Stop – Stopped/Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for Felony DOC Warrant, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping x 3 after being stopped for operating motorcycle without light reflectors, motorcycle and other property entered for safekeeping.

- 10:34 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Unable to locate.
- 1:57 pm, Theft/Larceny, Eagle Heights. Person reported their laundry stolen from shared in building room.
- 5:33 pm, Found Property, Lakeshore Path. Apple watch series 9 was found and given to dispatch, unable to contact or identify the owner, watch was placed into evidence for safe keeping.
- 8:32 pm, Other, Memorial Union. Contacted person regarding an incident with another person where that person had a weapon and was threatening others with it. Outside agency was also involved in a call on State Street later, additional follow-up, investigation ongoing.
- 1:23 am, Warrant Served, Regent Street. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Felony DOC warrant and Richland County Non-Support Warrant when they were stopped and cited for Operating a Bicycle w/o Lights/reflectors, bike entered into Safekeeping.
- 2:46 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted/Placed Into Protective Custody/Transported to local hospital person initially deemed incapacitated due to alcohol, released from PC during wait at local hospital and able to answer questions.

- 6:18 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 30. Contacted person in Lot 30 as their parked, unoccupied vehicle was potentially struck by another vehicle.
- 10:57 pm, Other, Foundation Center. Report number pulled in error.
- 2:35 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
Daily Blotter for July 5th 2026
- 11:01 am, Found Property, Willow Beach Parking Lot. Removed abandoned property from path west of Willow Beach Parking and placed into property safekeeping.
- 1:15 pm, Trespassing/After Hours, Humanities Building. Verbally Warned person for closing hours violation.
- 10:46 pm, Drug Violation, McKay Center Lot. Contacted persons for closing hours violation (parked at the McKay Center parking lot). One person was verbally warned for operating a motor vehicle without a valid drivers license and for closing hours violation, vehicle left in a legal parking stall and person picked up. Other person Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after conducting a consent search of the vehicle along with verbally warned for closing hours violation.
- 11:57 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
- 3:17 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Memorial Union. Located/Detained person for outside agency regarding active PC for Felony CDTP, vehicle and person turned over to outside agency.
- 3:30 am, Other, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited person after they were observed urinating in a bush at the Memorial Union Terrace.
