- 10:42 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Request from MPD for camera review regarding a suspect vehicle.
- 11:31 am, Domestic, Location Redacted. Contacted/Arrested person for disorderly conduct w/domestic enhancer for an incident between two persons over money that was allegedly taken from one person’s apartment.
- 11:42 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Sellery Hall. Contacted person who reported backing into a visitor parking sign.
- 11:49 am, Emergency Detention, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
- 1:30 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 75. Contacted person who reported their vehicle was struck by another vehicle in the main drive of the hospital entrance.

Daily Blotter for July 22nd 2025
- 8:48 am, Found Property, Lot 7. Property was turned into dispatch and notification to owners is being attempted. Property placed into safekeeping while we attempt to contact owners.
- 10:15 am, Theft/Larceny, Adams Hall. Person reported the possible theft of a University of Wisconsin Madison owned cell phone.
- 10:29 am, Burglary, Humanities Building. Contacted person whose piece of art has gone missing during a class that they took while taking a class on campus.
- 2:37 pm, Check Person, 333 East Campus Mall. Contacted/Cited person for Restricted use of student centers or unions, for being in the student activity center located on the third floor of 333 E. Campus Mall. Person has current active ban from student activity centers on campus.
- 11:15 pm, Graffiti, Lake & Dayton Streets. Located graffiti on a bus stop on N. Lake St. in between W. Dayton St. and W. Johnson St. the Graffiti was on the south most bus stop.

- 4:36 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted and transported person to local hospital for medical treatment.
- 7:56 pm, Theft/Larceny, Humanities Building/Parking Lot. Contacted person after their items were stolen in the Humanities parking lot.
- 3:06 am, Eluding, Langdon & N. Park Streets. Attempted to stop a vehicle for operating w/o lamps lit, vehicle eluded, no pursuit.

- 6:15 pm, Damage to Property, Lot 46. Contacted persons after an incident that left two 1/2 inch scratches on one of the interested parties vehicles.
- 9:32 pm, Fire, Local Hospital. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person who intentionally pulled the fire alarm at a local hospital emergency department while experiencing potential mental health crisis.
- 12:22 am, Found Property, UWPD. MFR turned in smartwatch from patient they transported to local hospital.
- 1:46 am, Theft/Larceny, Camp Randall Stadium. Contacted/Cited person for theft after they were caught by staff stealing t-shirts off of a vendor table while working at Camp Randall.
- 2:58 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Langdon & N. Henry Streets. Contacted person after witnessing a disturbance with a possible weapons violation involving other persons, MPD arrested person on Domestic Disorderly Conduct, our report to supplement MPD investigation.
- 3:04 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Assisted Wisconsin State Troopers with translating and informing the accused in Spanish for OWI suspect.
- 5:17 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person after they activated the lockdown alarm while experiencing mental health crisis.

- 1:37 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Person fell while loading onto bus, transported to local hospital by MFR, no police assistance needed.
- 1:49 pm, Graffiti, Lot 46. Located illegible graffiti in black spray paint on the northwest exterior of Lot 46.
- 3:08 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Camp Rndall. Person contacted requesting assistance regarding a no contact order with ex-spouse working at Camp Randall Stadium.
- 6:01 pm, Bail Jumping, Chazen Museum. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for campus ban bail violation as they were located outside the Chazen Museum by security.
- 12:09 am, Graffiti, Lot 80. Contacted person via phone after they reported graffiti on a pillar.
- 2:27 am, Other, Pyle Center. Liquor Law Violation - Contacted persons after observing open intoxicants in plain view within vehicle, both cited separately, passenger cited for Possess Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle and driver verbally warned for Keep Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle.

- 6:50 am, Check Person, Randall & Dayton Streets. Contacted/Cited person for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia after being contacted for a verbal disturbance.
- 6:56 am, Information, Lowell Center. Person reported that another person “body bumped", pushed, threw things, and yelled at them in and around the Lowell Center.
- 3:00 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Person transported to local hospital for medical treatment, no police assistance needed.
- 7:48 pm, Graffiti, Lot 7. Contacted person after they reported graffiti on a pillar to the left as you enter the lot.

- 9:30 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Goodspeed Family Pier. Contacted/Cited person for report of being back on Goodspeed family pier after being banned for 24 hours, citation issued for trespassing and vandalism.
- 1:23 pm, Graffiti, Ingraham Hall. Contacted person via phone regarding graffiti and they removed sticker.
- 1:45 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Mills & Dayton Streets. Contacted person regarding being struck by a vehicle in the intersection of N. Mills St. and West Dayton St. while crossing in the crosswalk.
- 4:37 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Location Redacted. Assisted outside agency with sensitive case evidence for agency to pick up at a later date.

- 7:39 am, Resisting Arrest, Elvehjem Museum. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for resisting/obstructing x2, battery to Law Enforcement Officer, entry onto a construction site, and cited for failure to obey postage signage.
- 8:45 am, Information, Location Redacted. Contacted person who was reporting a sensitive crime that occurred at a local hospital, referred to City of Madison Police Department.
- 9:35 am, Theft/Larceny, Local Hospital. Contacted/Cited person for UW Code 18.12 (6)(B) theft $100-$1000/concealment of clothing from local hospital gift shop, items returned, and person transported off location off campus.
- 2:23 pm, Check Person, Goodspeed Pier. Contacted/Verbally Warned person for disorderly conduct for inappropriate behavior and causing a disturbance, person requested to leave the Union area for 24 hours.
- 3:55 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Contacted person after their wallet and contents were turned into UWPD after being found at Brittingham Beach off North Shore Drive.
- 4:34 pm, Theft/Larceny, HC White. Contacted person who reported their bike was taken from the area of HC White College Library.
- 7:01 pm, Found Property, Lifesaving Station/W. Gilman Street. Recovered stolen bicycle and returned to owner after LRAS staff member observed someone abandon a bike on the northeast corner of the LRAS building.
- 11:02 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Ronald McDonald House. Assisted Shorewood Hills PD with a disturbance at the Ronald McDonald House.
- 12:05 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Executed Blood Search Warrant on behalf of the Marquette County Sheriff's Office.

- 11:43 am, Disorderly Conduct, Alumni House. Contacted person stating they witnessed a person walking a bike by the Goodspeed Pier yell racist things at another person and was uncomfortable with their actions.
- 4:51 pm, Theft/Larceny, Elizabeth Waters Residence Hall. Contacted person who reported their bike was stolen from the bike racks east of Elizabeth Waters Residence Hall.
- 5:50 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Dark Blue T-Mobile Phone turned in by Uber driver. Phone put into safekeeping.
- 6:14 pm, Bail Jumping, Library Mall. Mailed citation for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping to person after they were transported from campus to local hospital by MFR.
- 6:50 pm, Other, Smith Hall. Request For Assistance - Person reported their laundry was missing from washing machine #4-1st level Smith Hall, items were located upon further review of camera footage. No further police assistance requested.
- 11:46 pm, Other, Langdon Street. Liquor Law Violation - Contacted/Cited/Released person for Keep Open Intoxicants in motor vehicle after observing an open 1.75L bottle of Tito's vodka in the passenger compartment of their vehicle.
- 12:11 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Langdon Street. Contacted persons after observing an open container of Svedka vodka in the passenger compartment of their vehicle. Driver cited for Operating While Suspended and Underage Person Transport Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle. Driver Verbally Warned for keeping open intoxicants in Motor Vehicle. Passenger cited for UAL 1st and Verbally Warned for Keep Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle.
