12:34 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after observing them having difficulty walking and then falling in the intersection. Incapacitated from alcohol and transported to local hospital, verbally warned for false ID (confiscated/destroyed on scene).
1:14 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Mills Street Lot. Contacted/Cited driver for hit and run, driving too fast for conditions, failure to notify LE of accident, deviation from designated lane and sensitive crime, when their vehicle was found abandoned, smashed into a tree.

12:09 pm, Battery, Local Hospital. Contacted hospital staff members regarding patient who was ready for discharge but was being disorderly. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person for Lewd and lascivious behavior, bail jumping x 4.
12:54 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contact with person needing medical treatment and needing to go to the hospital, MFR arrived on scene to transport to an area hospital.

1:44 pm, Disorderly Conduct, UWPD. Contacted person when they reported a sensitive crime, multi jurisdiction incident and other jurisdiction will likely have primary report with possible SA.
7:48 pm, Information, Local Hospital. Contacted hospital staff requesting to file report regarding patient who assaulted them during procedure, incident documented.
3:01 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Lot 6. Cited person for trespass after they were called in by Transportation Services after being located in the back stairwell of Lot 6 and informed they were given two citations for the same thing and admitted they knew they were not supposed to be in the lot.

8:28 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Dairy Barn. Contacted persons regarding motor vehicle accident after one person backed into a parked unoccupied truck causing minor damage. No damage to UW owned vehicle.
1:31 pm, Graffiti, Vilas Hall. Physical plant reported sticker graffiti located 3 identical stickers that oppose ICE and police in general.
6:37 pm, Drug Violation, Park St. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person for threats to LEO, cited for other offenses after they were found inside a bathroom sleeping by Security, refused to identify themselves, search yielded open alcohol, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

12:31 am, Operating While Intoxicated, N. Park St / Regent St . Stopped/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party individual for Exceeding Posted Limit, Operating While Impaired (2nd), and Operating with Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (2nd)..

12:38 am, Operating While Intoxicated, State Street. Traffic Stop - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party driver for Operating While Impaired (2nd) after they were observed by a Bicycle Unit Police Officer placing a bowie knife to the neck of their vehicle passenger.

4:35 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. UPDATE – From 1/12/2026 Briefing: Cited person UW for UW Code Theft. Stolen bike was located on Facebook Marketplace.
6:40 am, Theft/Larceny, Humanities Building. Contacted person regarding theft from the break area in Humanities, potential suspect is a known person in this building.
3:41 pm, Found Property, McKay Center. Wallet belonging to person located in Arboretum and turned into Visitor's Center staff.
5:52 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 75. Contacted person regarding a vehicle striking their vehicle while parked in Lot 75. Suspect vehicle information known, additional follow up with registered owner of vehicle that hit other vehicle in Lot 75.
10:41 pm, Other, West Washington Ave & Park Street. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Verbally Warned driver for failing to obey traffic sign/expired and suspended registration, cited for operating without a license.
