- 10:54 am, Fraud, Eagle Heights. Contacted person walking in to report that someone charged money on a purchase in Texas last night, charges disputed at bank, investigation ongoing through UWPD .
- 10:58 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported person to local hospital for medical treatment.
- 3:09 pm, Found Property, Porter Boat House. Retrieved a found phone from person who found it on the sidewalk, owner located when another person tried calling it and owner was reunited with phone.
- 8:59 pm, Extortion, Location Redacted. Contacted person after they reported another person had threatened to disseminate a sensitive photo if they would not comply with demands, persons blocked, no further action.
- 12:18 am, Operating While Intoxicated, Johnson & Carroll Streets . Traffic Stop – Stopped/Contacted/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party driver for Operating While Impaired RS, Exceeding Posted Limit, Violating Yellow Traffic Control Signal, Keep Open Intox in MV - Driver, UAL 1st, and Violating Absolute Sobriety Law, vehicle left legally parked.

Traffic Stop - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for Failure to Obey Official Traffic Sign (DO NOT ENTER: ONE WAY), Keep Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle, Operating While Revoked (Criminal), IID Tampering/Failure to Install/Violate Court Order, Operating With PAC >= .02 Under IID Order (3rd), and Operating While Impaired (4th).

- 9:45 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for violation of probation per DOC requesting the pickup of this person at their current location, person taken into custody and transported to DCJ without incident.
- 9:49 am, Information, Kohl Center. Contacted/Cited/Ejected person for assaultive behavior, after they were observed pushing another person.
- 11:10 am, Theft/Larceny, Kohl Center. Contacted person after they contacted Guest Services to report their coat stolen from their seat. Coat seen with/and on another person via video footage, citations delivered to person for theft, coat returned to owner.
- 12:44 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Contacted person at local hospital per request from outside law enforcement agency for legal blood draw requested via TTY.

- 7:30 pm, Criminal Damage, Residence Hall. Located broken exit sign on 3rd floor B tower.
- 8:33 pm, Theft/Larceny, Local Hospital. Contacted person after their watch was stolen at either local hospital or from the Uber they used to get home from the hospital, watch plotted at apartment building.
- 9:18 pm, Theft/Larceny, Kohl Center. Contacted person after they reported their wallet stolen from the Kohl Center.

Traffic Stop - Stopped/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party driver for Fail to Obey Sign or Signal (DO NOT ENTER: Authorized Vehicles Only), Non-Registration of Auto, Operating While Impaired (1st), and Operating With Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (1st).

- 8:50 am, Information, Lucky. Person called to report a sensitive crime off campus and another agency is handling the case, however UW Campus is involved – investigation is ongoing at this time.
- 10:26 am, Graffiti, Humanities Building. Located a chalk star on the exterior northeast corner of the humanities building on the ground level.
- 10:33 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported patient to local hospital, no police assistance needed.
- 11:29 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported patient to local hospital, no police assistance needed.
- 1:02 pm, Theft/Larceny, Russell Labs. Person reported their e-scooter was taken without consent from the south side of Russell Laboratories building.
- 1:24 pm, Check Person, Walnut & Marsh. Person reported seeing another person carrying a weapon but not threatening towards them, investigation ongoing.
- 3:12 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Wallet and contents placed into property, unable to contact owner.
- 10:35 pm, Other, State Street. Traffic stop – Stopped/Verbally Warned driver for Disregarding Official Traffic Sign (DO NOT ENTER), cited for Possess Open Intoxicants in motor vehicle, passenger and Obstructing/Resisting Officer (County) after being observed holding an open bottle of alcohol and initially providing a false identity.

- 4:43 am, Other, E. Johnson & N. Brearly Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for OWI 2nd, PAC 2nd, going armed while intoxicated after EMS was called for them due to medical emergency during traffic stop for imprudent speed and other moving violations.
- 9:08 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after it was reported it appeared they needed medical attention, transported back to local hospital without incident and verbally warned for possession of drub paraphernalia.
- 10:53 am, Criminal Damage, Bakke Recreation Center. Two graffiti in single use bathrooms etched into water access panels.
- 11:00 am, Information, Office of Admissions. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.
- 11:32 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Person declined MFR transport to local hospital and sibling was meeting them on-scene to transport to local hospital for medical evaluation.
- 1:59 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. Contacted person who stated a person came to the door looking for the clinic next door.
- 11:30 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W. Gorham Street. Assisted MPD and MFD with structure fire response. No answer from alarming apartment and heavy smoke seen and smelled. Door forced and emergency aid entry made. Burnt food fire extinguished and residents evacuated.

- 3:13 am, Other, Campus Drive & Highland Ave. Traffic Stop – Stopped/Cited driver for no plates, operating vehicle after revocation (criminal) and failure to install IID. Verbally warned for non-registration of auto. Vehicle picked up by valid driver.

- 10:02 am, Graffiti, Lot 206. Graffiti discovered in both bus shelters in Lot 206.
- 11:10 am, Found Property, Community Center. Several electronic devices turned over from University Apartments lost & found and entered into safekeeping.
- 1:08 pm, Theft/Larceny, Kohl Center. Contacted by phone by person who lost a bracelet while working in concession stand at Kohl Center.
- 1:27 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person needing medical assistance, MFR transported to local hospital.
- 1:31 pm, Information, Location Redacted. Received an email regarding potential future student being involved in a scam. Investigation ongoing at this time.
- 3:05 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. Prior to police arrival, on camera person seen in room holding door open while talking to another person and handing several boxes in to that person inside the room.
- 4:04 pm, Information, Office of Admissions. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.
- 8:38 pm, Check Person, Humanities Building. Contacted/Cited person for UWS closing hours after they were located by UW Security after buildings posted closing hours. Citation issued and explained.
- 12:12 am, Other, W. Johnson Street & Wisconsin Ave. Traffic Stop – Stopped/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party driver for Operating Without Required Lamps Lighted, Operating While Impaired (1st), and Operating With Prohibited Alcohol Content (1st), vehicle legally parked.
- 4:43 am, Operating While Intoxicated, E. Johnson & N. Brearly Street. Incident ongoing at time of briefing release.

- 9:38 am, Bail Jumping, Memorial Library. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person after locating them outside the Memorial Library. attempted to inform person they needed to leave due to campus ban but they refused, consequently arrested.
- 3:58 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after they were reported being disruptive in their seat, person was intoxicated and incapacitated, transported by patrol vehicle to local hospital for detox evaluation.
- 5:06 pm, Battery, Kohl Center. Person reported another person yelled at them and hit them in the arm, dispute over fan etiquette, follow up plan in place with all parties, probably cause for disorderly cause and (likely) battery.
- 5:27 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. Made contact with staff and confirmed door was secure.
- 8:18 pm, Other, Local Hospital. Assumed command as local ER went into red status. Stood by and assisted outside agencies until they could get additional officers to the ER.
- 10:11 pm, Graffiti, HC White. Security reported stickers protesting Gaza and Immigration enforcement with fake advertisements for ICE recruitment placed on the inside elevator door of Elevator 1.
- 11:57 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Retrieved found iPhone 13 pro max from UWPD Dispatch, placed into property as safekeeping, owned by UW-Madison, DoIT notified to determine proper owner.
- 1:08 am, Operating While Intoxicated, Johnson St. & East Campus Mall. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party driver for Parking/Standing Where Prohibited, Operating Without Required Lamps Lighted During Hours of Darkness, Operating While Impaired (1st), and Operating With Prohibited Alcohol Content (1st) after observing them stopped with a traffic drum beneath their rear passenger side tire. Verbally Warned for possession of THC (County) and Operating Without License.

- 2:33 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after being kneed in the back of the head while playing basketball, MFR on scene, MFR transporting to local hospital.
- 10:43 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W. Gilman Street. Assisted outside agency in contacting/arresting suspect during traffic stop after a traffic complaint was reported on the vehicle. Outside agency arrested driver for OWI 2nd, misdemeanor bail jumping and open intoxicants, vehicle towed by Schmidt’s, outside agency transported to Dane County Jail.
- 11:39 pm, Other, Johnson Street & Wisconsin Ave. Traffic Stop – Stopped vehicle for revoked Registered Owner, cited driver for OAR (forfeiture) and failure to install IID (criminal). Vehicle left legally parked.
- 1:04 am, Other, Gorham & Henry Streets. Traffic Stop - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for OWI 1st, PAC 1st and driving against traffic (wrong way). Stopped for wrong way driving on one way street.

- 8:30 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported person to local hospital for medical attention after fall.
- 12:21 pm, Other, Location Redacted. Person called UWPD needing assistance trying to reach another person. Call turned over to MPD due to jurisdiction of call location, MFR responded and took over care of person.
- 2:09 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported person to local hospital for medical attention after fall.
- 3:16 pm, Sensitive Crime, Location Redacted. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Lew and Lascivious behavior, P&P hold placed as person is on probation for the same offenses.
- 5:13 pm, Information, Location Redacted. Contacted person who reported person experiencing mental health crisis, turned case over to outside agency due to jurisdiction. Outside agency conducted welfare check.
- 7:28 pm, Fraud, Lowell Center. Contacted person who reported being scammed out of a large sum of money after they deposited it into a “ghost account that did not belong to them when money was being withdrawn.
- 10:28 pm, Lost Property, Memorial Union. Contacted person after they reported they lost their Mexican Passport, US Tourist Visa, and brown leather passport carrier while at either at the Memorial Union or Kohl Center. Kohl Center and Memorial Union Staff already notified.
- 11:29 pm, Drug Violation, S. Park St. & Vilas Ave. Traffic Stop – Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail driver for Felony Bail Jumping and Possession of THC with intent to Deliver, initial traffic stop for illegible temp tag.
- 1:52 am, Other, W. Johnson & N. Broom Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party with Citations driver for Failure to Obey Traffic Sign (One Way) and Operating While Impaired (1st). Vehicle left legally parked.
