Contacted/Verbally Warned/Arrested on two Bench Warrants out of Monroe County/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person for Smoking Prohibited (Bus Shelter), UW Smoking (Within 25FT of Residence Hall), and UW Selling, Peddling, and Soliciting after observing them smoking within the bus shelter in front of Witte Hall and displaying a pillow case soliciting for contributions.
8:06 pm, Trespassing/After Hours, Humanities Building. Contacted/Cited person for trespass after notice, after they were reported by UWPD Security as being in the 3rd floor theater lobby of the Humanities building where they have a current University ban.
1:34 am, Resisting Arrest, Morgridge Hall. Obstruction/Resisting - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect after they were found sleeping in a room within the building, cited for obstruction, closing hours violation and an active warrant out of Waukesha County.
3:03 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Lot 7. Contacted/Cited person for Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice after locating them within the southwestern stairwell.
5:06 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Park St. & University Ave. Contacted/Arrested/Released with Citations person for Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice x3 after observing them trespass within UW Lot 7 twice and the Fluno Center/UW Lot 83 once.

Contacted/Arrested/Released With Citations person for Trespass To Land - Remain After Notice, UW Resisting/Obstructing Police Officer, and Pedestrian Violate Pedestrian Signal after they attempted to walk away from Police after being found asleep within the southwestern stairwell.
5:51 pm, Other, Campus Drive & Walnut Street. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Cited driver for unreasonable and imprudent speed and for criminal OAR.
10:48 pm, Theft/Larceny, Lot 7. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Theft of Movable Property <$2500, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice after they were observed on live UWPD Security Footage trespassing within the parking structure and entering unlocked vehicle.
11:26 pm, Damage to Property, Morgridge Hall. Contacted UWPD Security Officer after a heating unit in the penthouse was leaking water onto the 1st, 5th, 6th and 7th floor. Steamfitter was called. Damage to walls, ceiling, and carpeting.
4:33 am, Threat Assessment, East Campus Mall & University Ave. Contacted/Cited person for Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice after observing enter the lot.

9:22 am, Theft/Larceny, Eagle Heights. Person reported key missing from ignition and vehicle moved.
7:06 pm, Other, W. Johnson Street & East Campus Mall. Traffic Stop - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for obstruction after providing a false name and operating while suspended.
8:49 pm, Drug Violation, Lot 7. Contacted/Verbally Warned person for Trespass to Land Remain After Notice and UW Possession of Marijuana.
11:04 pm, Resisting Arrest, Local Hospital. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect after local hospital security reported they would not leave hospital after being requested to leave. Arrested for Trespass-Remain After Notice and escorted off property. After release person arrested for standing on roadway 346.29(2), Resisting/Obstructing.
11:46 pm, Other, N. Park & W. Johnson Streets. Traffic Stop – Stopped driver for operating w/o front license plate and vehicle searched due to odor of marijuana. Driver cited for OAR, possession of THC, verbally warned for possession of drug paraphernalia. Passenger in vehicle cited for possession of THC.
12:50 am, Battery, Local Hospital. Cited person for UW Assaultive Behavior after reports of health care staff being injured.
1:24 am, Drug Violation, Library Mall. Contacted/Verbally Warned person for UW Possession of Marijuana after observing them smoking a marijuana blunt.
2:22 am, Operating While Intoxicated, N. Lake & State Streets. Traffic Stop – Stopped driver for failure to obey sign/signal (driving on State St), driver cited for OWS, OWI 1st, and failure to obey sign/signal. Released to responsible party at local hospital.
5:51 am, Check Person, Lot 7. No disposition at time of briefing release.

3:38 pm, Other, Picnic Point. Animal Case - Contacted/Cited person for failing to maintain physical control of her dog after person reported they were bit by other person’s dog.
12:02 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Fluno Center. Arrested/Cited/Released without incident person for trespassing-remain after notice. Persons ban from Fluno Center was enforced after finding them sleeping in the first-floor elevator vestibule.

8:27 am, Theft/Larceny, Local Hospital. Contacted person regarding theft of items taken from their possession, tracked items to residence in City of Madison, and person of interest may have said item is an employee of hospital.
12:15 pm, Information, Location Redacted. Contacted person regarding incident ongoing incident with minor.
5:21 pm, Other, Old Middleton Ave & Whitney Way. Traffic Stop – Stopped driver for revoked Registered Owner, cited driver for OAR and IID order violation. Valid driver removed vehicle.
12:24 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Lot 7. Cited person for trespass from land-remain after notice after they were found in the stairwell of Grainger's parking lot.

11:15 am, Information, Office of Admissions. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.

9:17 am, Theft/Larceny, Humanities Building. Contacted person regarding packages delivered to Humanities but found them ripped open and items missing. Potential suspect, investigation ongoing.
11:36 am, Theft/Larceny, HC White Library. Person reported that a $25 Starbucks gift and a metal tin of Venus cashews were stolen from a mailbox that they had placed in there as a gift and was now missing.
1:51 pm, Sensitive Crime, Location Redacted. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Lewd and Lascivious behavior and Disorderly Conduct.
3:40 pm, Theft/Larceny, Law Building. Contacted person reported items stolen from the fifth floor of the Law Building.
5:16 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Assisted Hospital Staff with patient who stated they had ingested an illegal drug while being treated. Drug paraphernalia found in patients’ food, items seized and disposed of.
2:20 am, Other, University Ave & Franklin. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Cited driver for operating while revoked, driver does have occupational license but was operating outside of allowed hours. Responsible party arrived to legally park the vehicle and transport driver.

8:40 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Mifflin Street. Contacted person with outside agency regarding a weapons violation on E Mifflin St. Outside agency arrested/transported multiple parties to local hospitals for medical clearance prior to Dane County Jail.
10:38 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, University Ave & Frances Street. Assisted outside agency with locating and contacting person after they were reported as intoxicated and experiencing mental health crisis. Outside agency Arrested/Cited/Transported to Dane County Jail Threats to LE, DC, L&L, resisting and the mis. warrant. UWPD issued one charge of obstruction.

7:42 am, Check Person, Humanities Building. Contacted/Cited person for Disorderly Conduct after taking their coat off and throwing it and threatening to fight a person in the Humanities Building.
11:27 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Assisted outside agency with a cell phone examination.
3:01 pm, Found Property, Engineering Building. Engineering turned in their lost and found items collected through the first half of the school year. Items placed into property for safe keeping to attempt to locate owners.
6:19 pm, Warrant Served, UWPD. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for a active Dunn County Warrant for failure to appear for operating without valid license.
7:08 pm, Theft/Larceny, Engineering Building. Contacted person reporting their iPad stolen, confronted persons who took item and recovered additional items that persons had stolen. Item stolen not recovered but tracked and found along with other property abandoned on railroad tracks west of N Randall Ave along Campus Dr.
9:44 pm, Other, University Ave/East Campus Mall. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Cited person for Failure to install IID (misd.), OWS, Verbally Warned for operating without required lamps.
9:46 pm, Fire, Residence Hall. Assisted MFD and UWPD Security with a fire alarm. No signs of smoke on arrival. MFD found large amount of steam and flowing water coming from a heating unit.
11:31 pm, Other, Lake & Dayton Streets. Traffic Stop - Contacted driver for operating without required lights, confiscated/destroyed marijuana, citations issued, vehicle legally parked, driver released without issue.
12:27 am, Operating While Intoxicated, Johnson & Bassett Streets. Traffic Stop - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party driver for OWI 1st, reckless driving and unreasonable and imprudent speed.
