8:54 am, Check Person, Lot 46. Contacted person for entering unlocked vehicles. Verbally Warned person that any future unauthorized presence on UW land would be considered trespassing.
4:30 pm, Theft/Larceny, Nicholas Recreation Center. Person reported their mountain bike stolen from the north racks.
6:40 pm, Domestic, Location Redacted. Arrested person for domestic Disorderly Conduct after an argument with another person.
8:09 pm, Threat Assessment, Location Redacted. Person called to report altercation with another person who is also co-worker.

2:12 pm, Graffiti, Educational Sciences. Numerous drawings and limericks written in black sharpie on 3 walls of the far stall.
2:40 pm, Graffiti, Lot 46. Graffiti located in lower level stairwell on the southeast side of ramp.
7:34 pm, Trespassing/After Hours, State Street. Located/Cited person for Trespass to Land - Remain After Notice x2 after observing them on camera in UW Lot 7 - on 12/24 and 12/25 - despite being contacted for their unauthorized presence within UW Lot 7 four times prior.
12:02 am, Follow-up, Grainger Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping after observing them ascending the northwestern stairwell, probable cause for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.

5:13 am, Other, Grainger Hall. Open Door - Contacted/Cited person for UW Closing Hours - Building after finding them propping exterior doors and trespassing inside.
5:42 am, Warrant Served, Grainger Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for two Bench Warrants out of Dane County for Trespass to Land - Remain after notice after being found sleeping at the top of the north western stairwell.
4:42 pm, Information, Arboretum Drive Lot. Contacted/Verbally Warned persons for UW code fire safety.
6:09 pm, Drug Violation, Chazen Museum of Art. Contacted/Verbally Warned person for Possession of MJ (THC-A) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. After UWPD Chazen Security saw them on camera smoking something out of a glass pipe.
7:52 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Local Hospital Emergency Room. Contacted person who was discharged from local hospital Emergency Room and refusing to leave they threatened a Hospital Security Officer with their cane and still refused to leave. They did the same with UWPD Officers and was promptly arrested for disorderly conduct, bail jumping x3, and threats to a health care provider. Transported to Dane County Jail without incident. Property entered into safekeeping.
11:38 pm, Check Person, Grainger Hall. Cleared stairwells and portions of building after observing person propping doors and smoking inside on cameras.

4:57 pm, Follow-up, UWPD. Follow Up report, no additional information at time of briefing release.
12:55 am, Warrant Served, Local Hospital. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for a Probation Violation Hold (DOC Warrant). Property placed into safekeeping. Probation/Parole notified.
2:00 am, Information, Eagle Heights. Contacted persons after a verbal argument was called in by both parties. Both parties advised the argument was verbal and never physical. One party left and was provided a ride to a local hotel, one stayed at location, advised to stay apart for the night.

7:10 am, Graffiti, East Campus Mall. Located, photographed graffiti on 1st level stairwell facing ECM.
8:26 am, Theft/Larceny, Local Hospital. Person reporting that 18 Apple Ipad chargers were stolen from a specific unit at local hospital.
10:03 am, Fraud, Eagle Heights. Followed up with person regarding theft of debit card from Daniels Construction work vehicle on worksite across from 805 Eagle Heights.
10:13 am, Information, Social Sciences. Person reported unwanted email contact from someone who had emailed Anthropology Department several times and began sending mild threats when they did not get replies.
1:46 am, Bail Jumping, Lake & Langdon Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for felony Bail Jumping x5, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Fentanyl after they were observed violating the conditions of their release by being on University Lands.

2:32 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Person reported their electric bike was stolen outside of residence hall after friend last used it.
5:35 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 60. Contacted person who reported they did not know they hit another vehicle but agreed to help resolve damage to another vehicle in Lot 60.
6:09 pm, Operating While Intoxicated, University Ave. & Franklin. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for speed (pace 55/35), OWI 1st, open intox, and PAC 1st. PBT 0.18. Intox.
11:10 pm, Other, W. Washington Ave. & Bedford Street. Verbally warned person for operating without required lamps and open intox in motor vehicle.
12:44 am, Other, Arboretum Drive. Suspicious Vehicle - Located unoccupied Vehicle that slid off Arboretum Dr near Covall St. and no driver located, vehicle towed by Schmidts.

12:01 am, Theft/Larceny, Local Hospital. Contacted person reporting items stolen from their property while patient at local hospital.
7:13 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Disregarded by MFR upon arrival. No police action required.
9:24 am, Other, Location Redacted. Person found deceased; no additional information provided.
6:14 pm, Graffiti, Gordon Commons. Contacted person reporting graffiti etched into a tile above a urinal in the second floor men’s restroom (east of symphony meeting room).
8:16 pm, Theft/Larceny, Gordon Commons. Contacted person after they reported their black backpack was taken after they had fallen, were rendered unconscious, and transported to local hospital. Items were taken by good Samaritan and trying to connect both to get items back to initial person.
10:13 pm, Other, University Ave & Orchard. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Cited/Released to Responsible Party person for Violating Solid Red Traffic Control Signal and cited passenger for Possess Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle.

8:28 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Herrick Drive. Person contacted UWPD to report two incidents that had occurred with UW owned vehicles hitting a building causing damage to the exterior wall and also a railing for steps outside being knocked over while a crew was removing snow overnight.
9:02 am, Emergency Detention, Local Hospital. Assistance with person experiencing mental health crisis.
9:43 am, Found Property, Van Vleck Hall. Wallet for person placed into property, person aware we have wallet and will retrieve.
1:56 pm, Other, Residence Hall. Weapons Violation - Black handgun BB gun seized from location in Residence Hall during winter break inspections.
3:00 pm, Theft/Larceny, Engineering Center. Person reporting many items of value stolen sometime within the last three weeks requesting reports of times and timelines.
3:44 pm, Information, McBurney Resource Center. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.
5:09 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. Contacted person who advised another person activated the alarm in error.
5:42 pm, Damage to Property, Lot 76. Transportation Services reported vehicle hit the north exit gate arm causing damage.

12:00 pm, Information, McBurney Resource Center. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.
1:01 pm, Found Property, Camp Randall Stadium. Found one apple watch, placed into property for safekeeping.

9:57 am, Information, UWPD. Contacted person reporting a scammer using the Office of Admissions desk phone number to contact random people attempting to obtain credit card information. No known victims or money lost at this time.
11:51 am, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person reporting their Air Pods Pro 2 stolen from Witte Hall.
12:19 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
2:23 pm, Found Property, Red Gym. Phone turned in by contractors at the Red Gym, phone entered into property for safekeeping.
6:35 pm, Theft/Larceny, Helen C. White Library. Contacted person who parked their bicycle outside Helen C. White on 12/18/2024 around 4:15pm and returned around 6:00pm, the bicycle and lock were gone.
10:24 pm, Theft/Larceny, Memorial Union. Contacted person who stated their friend attempted to harm him while at the Memorial Union and took off with their belongings on their bike.
