- 8:45 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Transported person to local hospital for medical assistance.
- 11:36 am, Information, Local Hospital. Contacted person regarding potential theft of their phone at a bus stop near local hospital. Returned to bus stop and found phone in the grass.
- 2:19 pm, Damage to Property, Elvehjem Museum. Contacted person after they reported finding graffiti on three roof air intake units.
- 4:14 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. PT transported prior to police arrival no police assistance needed.
- 6:20 pm, Theft/Larceny, Lot 29. Contacted person to take a theft report.
- 1:18 am, Warrant Served, N. Park And State Streets. Stopped and verbally warned person for operating with suspended registration. Arrested passenger for active warrant.

- 10:12 am, Disorderly Conduct, Biochemistry Building. Arrested person for disorderly conduct (x2) and probation hold. Cited person for UW code unauthorized presence.
- 1:39 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Eagle Heights & Lake Mendota . Assisted person after they stuck a tree with their vehicle as they attempted to avoid flock of turkeys.
- 4:15 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Memorial Union. MFD cleared prior to arrival.
- 4:51 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, WARF Parking Lot 65. Contacted person whose vehicle was parked in Lot 65 and was backed into by a Daniels Construction vehicle causing extensive damage to the rear tailgate and shattered the back window.

- 12:13 am, Other, W. Washington Ave. & Bedford Street. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Cited person for open intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. Initially stopped for stop sign violation.
- 1:47 am, Other, Langdon & State Streets. Traffic Stop - Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for unauthorized display of registration plates. Multiple drug and weapon violations to be cited for.

- 4:26 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Received found property (brown billfold w/ various cards). Attempt to locate owner ongoing.
- 2:02 am, Other, W. Dayton & N. Bassett Streets. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Verbally Warned person for improper right turn. Cited passenger for possession of open intoxicants.

- 5:38 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Arboretum Lot. Contacted person who reported having been involved in a biking accident involving a car in the arboretum.
- 10:52 pm, Sensitive Crime, Location Redacted. Contacted person who reported to camp directors a sensitive crime.
- 11:30 pm, Warrant Served, University Ave & Chestnut St. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Dane County Warrant (Disorderly Conduct with weapon).
- 1:57 am, Operating While Intoxicated, Vilas Ave & S. Park St. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party for OWI (2nd), PAC (2nd), Unreasonable/imprudent speed and Operating without required lamps.
Daily Blotter for June 20th 2024
- 4:57 am, Warrant Served, Residence Hall. Contacted person after a report of them trying to get into a residence hall. Arrested person for active probation warrant and transported/released to Dane County Jail.
- 11:36 am, Damage to Property, Lot 44. Contacted persons after one struck another person’s vehicle with a Mean Green Mower brand riding mower.
- 12:40 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Gave person ride to local hospital for basketball injury.
- 7:28 pm, Drug Violation, N. Randall Ave & Regent Street. Stopped persons for fail to follow indicated turn and improper left turn. PC search of vehicle resulting in seizing 22g of MJ multiple THC cartridges, multiple baggies, and scale. Person in vehicle took ownership of property and was arrested for possession w/ intent to distribute and transported to JRC. Multiple citations issued to both driver and passenger in vehicle.
- 7:33 pm, Theft/Larceny, Villas Hall. Contacted person who wanted to report a black set of Skull candy crusher headphones, IPad charger and IPhone charger were stolen from their backpack.
- 9:20 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Cardinal Lane. Assisted MPD with drone deployment for a substantial battery suspect.
- 12:05 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Wisconsin Ave & Gorham St. Assisted Maple Bluff PD with a vehicle pursuit which ended up on the UW-Madison Campus. Vehicle crashed into the construction site at W Johnson St/N Charter St. The vehicle continued the wrong way on W Johnson St until it came to a stop on N Randall Ave/Campus Dr. Driver arrested and transported by Maple Bluff PD.
- 1:58 am, Other, S. Park & Chandler Streets. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Cited/Released person for speed 41/25 and verbally warned for possession of THC.

- 8:42 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFD transported one to local hospital for medical issues.
- 12:16 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person regarding stolen bike and cable lock.
- 4:34 pm, Alarm, Location Redacted. Contacted person who manages lab and advised employee was inside when alarm went off, no issues found.
- 6:47 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W. Gorham Street. Assisted City of Madison PD with person who was resisting arrest.
- 9:35 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person who was transported to local hospital experiencing medical issue.
- 2:34 am, Check Person, Eagle Heights. Cited person for UW unauthorized camping after finding them sleeping in the stairwell to an Eagle Heights Building.
- 4:47 am, Warrant Served, Ogg Hall. No disposition at the time of briefing release.

- 5:30 am, Bail Jumping, Humanities Building. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for bail jumping and verbally warned for camping.
- 1:08 pm, Other, Braxton Place and Park St. Possession of Marijuana - Stopped/Cited person for exceeding posted speed limit (42/25). Odor of Marijuana detected. Three packages of THC products seized. Possession of THC citation issued.
- 5:46 pm, Theft/Larceny, Memorial Union. Contacted person regarding the theft of their bike from the bike racks on Langdon St. outside of the Memorial Union.
- 7:10 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 94. Located vehicle from MPD hit and run on Lake Street near University Avenue.
- 8:00 pm, Domestic, Location Redacted. Arrested person for simple battery/domestic violence, disorderly conduct/domestic violence, and felony bail jumping. Also arrested additional person for simple battery/domestic violence and disorderly conduct/domestic violence after parties were observed on camera battering each other in the elevator and causing a physical disturbance. Both parties transported and released to Dane County Jail without incident.
- 12:51 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location redacted. Detained and placed person into protective custody experiencing a mental health crisis.
