- 4:59 pm, Found Property, Residence Hall. Contacted person after finding their wallet in former dorm room.
- 7:57 pm, Graffiti, Library Mall. White chalk writing with the letters " TVISA" on the concrete steps.
- 10:10 pm, Information, Location Redacted. Contacted person regarding another person experiencing mental health crisis.
- 12:59 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Lot 83. Contacted/Cited person for Trespass to Land-Remain After Notice after observing them in an elevator vestibule on UWPD Security Camera.
- 4:10 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Grainger Hall. Observed person ascending the northwestern stairwell via UWPD Security Camera who has been warned for their unauthorized presence in UW Buildings in prior instances.

- 8:48 am, Disorderly Conduct, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited person for disorderly conduct and lewd and lascivious behavior for disturbing someone with inappropriate behavior in the Memorial Union and issued a ban letter by Memorial Union staff.
- 4:37 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 46. Transportation Services vehicle struck rear driver side taillight of University vehicle while entering lot to park.
- 4:55 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Disregarded by fire.
- 6:15 pm, Check Person, Memorial Union. Contacted person while conducting a foot patrol of the building when they exited and began vomiting. Later located person in the building where they were being detained for being on UW lands/parole violation. Transported to Dane County Jail without incident, property entered into safekeeping.
- 8:53 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Residence Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Disorderly conduct, Criminal trespass to Dwelling, UAL 1st and False ID.
- 11:49 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W. Dayton Street. Assisted MPD with a weapons violation.
- 12:56 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contacted/Cited person for UAL 1st and possession of a fake ID after housefellows witnessed them throwing up in the garbage can, intoxicated not incapacitated.
- 1:05 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contacted/Cited person during detox evaluation, found to be intoxicated not incapacitated, after being found laying on the floor in their dorm room.
- 2:01 am, Operating While Intoxicated, Gorham & Henry Streets. Arrested/Cited/Released to Responsible Party person for OWI 1st and failure to stop at stop sign.
- 5:02 am, Other, Lot 8. Suspicious Vehicle - Contacted person after their vehicle was reported as suspicious by UW grounds. Owner told they could park their vehicle in location by CSC staff on Lakeshore path – THC vape and empty gummy bag confiscated, verbally warned for possession of THC on University land.

- 10:58 am, Harassment, Location Redacted. Contact with person who wanted to make a report of harassment against an unknown person that they met on social media app who continues to message and make contact after asked not to.
- 1:04 pm, Found Property, Redwing Marks. Contacted person who found a 10-32 while picking up trash in the arboretum west of the 5 mile marker and placed item into evidence.
- 4:32 pm, Fraud, Gilman House. Person reported receiving an electronic check from an unknown email address, aware of scam and wanted others to be aware of email scam.

- 7:45 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Person slipped and fell on ice, transported by MFR to local hospital.
- 9:00 am, Information, McBurney Resource Center. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.
- 9:45 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after falling on the ice, transported by MFR to local hospital.
- 12:15 pm, Information, McBurney Resource Center. Received a mandatory report from the Office of Admission.
- 7:40 pm, Information, Local Hospital. Local hospital in red status from GSW patient moved back into green status, UWPD officer on standby for precautionary reasons.
- 10:36 pm, Damage to Property, Henry Mall. State Lab of Hygiene van struck by garbage dumpster which wind had pushed into side of vehicle. Resulting damage consisted of paint scratches and minor dent to passenger side sliding door.

- 1:54 pm, Damage to Property, Fluno Center. Contacted The Fluno Center Facilities Manager regarding a truck backing into their loading dock door on 02/03/2025.
- 4:21 pm, Check Person, Lot 18. Contacted person after they were reported to be looking into vehicles. Consent to search on person and nothing found, released on foot without incident.
- 4:45 pm, Fraud, UWPD. Contacted person who reported being scammed after placing a post on Fackbook Group/UW-Housing and Whatsapp/Eagle Heights Group wanting to conduct a lease transferred out of an Eagle Heights residence.
- 5:59 pm, Check Person, Residence Hall. Contacted person after they were reported wandering inside Residence Hall and talking to themself. Verbally Warned and educated them about unauthorized presence in residence halls and university buildings.
- 8:25 pm, Theft/Larceny, Chemistry Building. Contacted person who reported having items stolen by an unidentified individual. Some items were retrieved others still missing.
- 11:57 pm, Damage to Property, Local Hospital. Local hospital security advised an ambulance damaged a stop sign while trying to leave the parking lot.
- 12:41 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person who fell on ice, injuring elbow, MFR assessed and UWPD transported to a local hospital for treatment.

- 1:03 pm, Damage to Property, Lot 7. Contacted Transportation Services Parking Enforcement who reported damage to the ceiling of Lot 7 due to roof rack from truck hitting ceiling of the lot.
- 1:50 pm, Graffiti, Helen C. White Hall. Physical Plant called for graffiti found in south west tower stair level one of Helen C White Hall.
- 3:07 pm, Check Person, Local Hospital. Escort with person experiencing medical emergency, no further police assistance needed.

- 3:40 pm, Follow-up, Social Science. Contacted person who wanted to report someone who said they potentially were selling discounted fraudulent tickets.

- 7:50 pm, Other, Local Hospital. Emergency Room Assist Request - Contacted parent of patient during patient discharge on request from hospital staff to assist with discharge of patient and departure of both parents and patient.

- 2:38 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person regarding theft of his ebike from the bicycle racks to the south east of Residence Hall front entrance.

- 4:49 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Observatory Dr. & Walnut St. Contacted persons after another person was struck on their bicycle by a vehicle.
- 6:48 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person after they stated their scooter has been stolen.

- 4:43 am, Fire, Henry Mall. Fire Alarm - Responded to fire alarm with MFD. No fire but water leak from sprinkler system and standing water located on 1st floor.
- 4:10 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Transported person to local hospital regarding medical injury from playing basketball.
- 5:00 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person who injured their knee playing basketball. Person transported to local hospital by friend.
- 6:05 pm, Check Person, Memorial Union. Contacted person who reported a person was following women around in Memorial Union making them feel uncomfortable.
- 7:09 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person after another person stating they were experiencing a mental health crisis.
- 9:11 pm, Fraud, DeJope Residence Hall. Contacted person regarding blackmail text messages from an unknown individual. Investigation ongoing at this time.
- 9:56 pm, Warrant Served, Memorial Library. Contacted person after observing a large fireworks display coming from the lake off of the Memorial Union. Person had a body only warrant, paid over the phone and released to family member without issue.
- 10:48 pm, Information, Harvey Street. Contacted person who reported to MPD Central their residence was burglarized by three armed persons. Assisted MPD with case, no further assistance needed.
- 3:49 am, Information, UWPD. Contact with person needing mental health assistance.
Daily Blotter for February 2nd 2025
- 2:37 pm, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contacted person after they reported another person was intoxicated and unconscious. MFR arrived no police assistance needed.
- 3:31 pm, Theft/Larceny, East Campus Mall. Contacted person reporting theft of stickers and pens from an office space in 333 ECM, case ongoing at this time.
- 11:17 pm, Lost Property, UWPD. Contacted person regarding their UW issued laptop being missing.
- 11:36 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted/Cited persons for UAL 1st after another person reported them as "overly intoxicated" and one was incapacitated due to alcohol - transported to local hospital by MFR, citations to be delivered at a later date.
- 1:02 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Cited person for UAL 1st after being found in basement puking into toilet and transported to a local hospital for detox evaluation.
- 4:43 am, Fire, Henry Mall. Fire Alarm - Incident ongoing at time of briefing release.

- 1:49 pm, Theft/Larceny, Humanities Building. Contacted person who reported that they left their bag outside of the first floor bathroom in Humanities and when they came back to it, several items were missing.

- 12:11 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, W. Johnson & State Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Theft outstanding case and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
- 1:31 am, Other, N. Henry Street. Traffic Stop - Stopped/Verbally Warned person for improper left turn.
- 1:49 am, Operating While Intoxicated, W. Gilman St. & University Ave. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for OWI 3rd, OAR, Failure to Install IID and wrong way driving.
