8:50 am, Trespassing/After Hours, University Ave. & Brooks Street. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for trespassing after observing them following a subject, who they later said they were asking for money, while at Grainger, in the area of the campus ban.
9:54 am, Other, Slichter Hall. Contacted by telephone person who reported their Ebike was stolen on 4/22/25 from a rack outside Slichter Hall. Bike recovered near Langdon Street thanks to an AirTag placed on bike.
10:32 am, Graffiti, East Campus Mall Tunnel. Numerous drawings and writings in the pedestrian tunnel in white, black, pink blue spray paint.
6:12 pm, Information, Doty Street. Delivered ban letter to Dane County Jail to deliver to inmate which bans them from the UW Law Building.
10:19 pm, Theft/Larceny, Vilas Hall. Contacted person for theft of E-scooter from bike rack at Vilas Hall. Suspect located without the scooter and arrested for theft but refused to provide information on the scooter’s whereabouts.
2:41 am, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.

12:55 pm, Other, Lot 18. Hit and Run - Contacted person regarding vehicle that was damaged by a hit and run while parked in Lot 18.
2:20 pm, Harassment, Lot 75. Contacted by telephone person who reported another person approached their vehicle while parked in Lot 75, made hand gestures and yelled at them.
2:30 pm, Information, Lot 75. Person called to report an accident involving their vehicle while in Lot 75.
6:10 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Assisted MFD with person experiencing medical emergency. MFD transported to local hospital no police assistance required.
8:26 pm, Other, Educational Sciences. Contacted/Cited/Released on foot person for unauthorized presence after they entered the educational sciences building, they have an active campus ban and left willingly.
10:04 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Grainger Hall. Contacted/Cited person for City Ordinance Disorderly Conduct after they were reported as harassing others in the area.
1:34 am, Information, UWPD. Contacted by Capitol PD person regarding them making comments about a UWPD employee.
5:20 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing medical emergency, transported to local hospital by MFD.

5:57 am, Disorderly Conduct, Local Hospital. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail person after they came into a local hospital emergency room causing a disturbance near the charge desk demanding immediate care of injuries.
7:29 am, Drug Violation, Lot 29. Verbally Warned person for UW possession of Marijuana and UW possession of drug paraphernalia.
9:09 am, Found Property, UWPD. WI ID turned in to UWPD and placed into property while attempts to locate owner are made.
11:04 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. Contacted person after they experienced medical emergency and MFR transported to local hospital.
12:37 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Library Mall. Contacted persons after their university-approved event on Library Mall was disrupted by another person that yelled racial and anti-semitic comments at them. All were disturbed and concerned for their safety. Suspect left area prior to our arrival.
1:38 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Observatory & Willow Drives. Contacted by telephone person who stated that they struck a bicyclist who left the scene at Willow/Observatory this afternoon stating they would self-treat their minor injuries. Contact made with cyclist who stated they were sore but did not need EMS or transport for medical treatment.
9:28 pm, Mental Health Welfare Check, Location Redacted. Contacted person experiencing mental health crisis.
2:30 am, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Acewood Blvd/Madison. Assisted MPD with drone overwatch while they cleared an apartment building.

6:19 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Picnic Point. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for UW Disorderly Conduct after a person reported they refused to leave the area of fire pit #6 which the reporting person had reserved for an event.
9:27 pm, Found Property, UWPD. Wallet found and turned into UWPD, placed into safekeeping and will attempt to locate owner.
9:41 pm, Check Person, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited/Released person for depositing humane waste in Lake Mendota out from Alumni overlook and verbally warned for lighting their citation they received from a prior contact on fire.
3:00 am, Operating While Intoxicated, University Avenue. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party person for OWI, stopped for speeding 43/25, vehicle legally parked in UW Foundation lot.
3:28 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Breese Terrace & Monroe Street. Cited person for UAL 1st.

8:59 am, Found Property, N. Park Street. A gray Kindle, gray Amazon Pen (for tablet), held in a brown leather tablet case, was discovered near 21 N. Park St. and brought to the UWPD.
10:13 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Observatory Drive & N. Park Street. Contacted/Cited Metro Bus driver after they crossed the center line in the hairpin on Observatory causing the bus to strike UW housing vehicle causing minor damage to both vehicles.
1:02 pm, Threat Assessment, Location Redacted. Person called to report a concerning email and requested threat assessment.
3:59 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 56. No information provided at time of briefing release.
10:03 pm, Information, N. Park St. & University Ave. Contacted person and issued them their UW ban letter.
10:13 pm, Theft/Larceny, Vilas Hall. Contacted person reporting their purse stolen while at the Mitchell Theater.

10:10 am, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR responding to location for person needing medical care.
10:39 pm, Bail Jumping, Park & Dayton Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for IID violation, obstruction, bail jumping and verbally warned for operating without required lamps lit.
11:13 pm, Other, Lot 91. Check Suspicious Vehicle - Contacted/Detained person after locating a firearm in plain view on the floor board of the driver seat of their vehicle parked in Lot 91. Secured firearm during contact with persons for officer safety and released occupants back to vehicle following contact.

8:04 am, Information, Lot 75. Contacted person regarding another person operating a vehicle that almost hit her on her walk into work in Lot 75 parking ramp. Person felt unsafe due to drivers erratic driving behaviors towards them.
8:52 am, Disorderly Conduct, Grainger Hall. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct.
9:16 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 59. Contacted person who was operating a UW grounds side by side vehicle and backed into an unoccupied vehicle causing damage to parked vehicle.
3:50 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 29. Contacted Special Events Lot Attendant who backed their vehicle into a concrete pillar on the first level of the parking ramp due to distractions from another motorist in the ramp.
7:43 pm, Check Person, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited/Released person for UW Disorderly Conduct after Memorial Union Staff reported they were intoxicated, threatened to beat up staff, and yelled obscenities at performers onstage in the Rathskeller.
2:32 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contact person after other persons called for EMS due to them being passed out and experiencing a medical emergency due to alcohol intoxication.

11:28 am, Harassment, Residence Hall. Person reported unwanted comments from their roommate regarding their personal life and believes, housing is aware of situation and person offered alternate housing at this time.
12:00 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, UWPD. Assisted Marshall PD with a cell phone examination.
12:43 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Babcock & Linden. Contacted person who was hit by a vehicle crossing the street on west side of Microbial. Operator not at fault and stopped for welfare check. No citations issued.
1:58 pm, Medical/Alcohol/Detox Conveyance, Location Redacted. MFR transported patient to local hospital.
3:05 pm, Graffiti, N. Park Street. Numerous drawings and writings under the far west side of the bridge in white, black, blue spray paint.
3:22 pm, Theft/Larceny, Engineering Hall. Person reported their black sunglasses stolen from room in building.
4:15 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 6. Contacted person driving unoccupied vehicle registered to parents that was struck in lot 6, damage to front passenger side of vehicle.
5:18 pm, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person who reported their backpack containing laptop and misc school supplies stolen or misplaced. Later found backpack in chemistry lost and found.
6:22 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Brooks Street & University Ave. Contacted/Cited/Released person after a report of person approaching and disturbing multiple people on University Ave.
10:09 pm, Operating While Intoxicated, Regent & Park Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Released to Responsible Party for OWI 1st, cited for speeding 40/25mph (reason for stop) and PAC 1st.
1:09 am, Trespassing/After Hours, Camp Randall Stadium. Contacted/Cited/Released persons after they jumped the fence and went onto the field of Camp Randall Stadium, cited for closing hours and bypassing a security device.

11:12 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Assisted Adams County Sheriff’s Office with warrant blood draw on patient at local hospital after vehicle crash.
