Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for outstanding Dane County Warrants and two additional felony drug warrants, two counts of felony bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia, verbally warned for possession of THC, camping (UWS Chapter 18) and possession of alcohol (UWS Chapter 18) Other party verbally warned for camping.
7:47 pm, Other, Regent & Monroe Streets. Traffic Stop – Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for Felony Bail Jumping, Misd. Bail Jumping and Possession of drug paraphernalia after traffic stop for failure to display license plates. Briefly detained passenger after they refused to ID themselves, eventually released without incident.

Driver had a extraditable warrant out of Kansas state for burglary, and also has their driving status revoked. Verbally Warned for driving without proper lamps lit.

12:07 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Location Redacted. MFR transported to local hospital due to intoxication from alcohol, UAL citation to be delivered at a later date.
1:43 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Marsh & University Bay Drive. Contacted person who had been in contact with another person who was trying to knock them off their bike and chased them. Person of interest left area prior to police arrival.

4:19 pm, Disorderly Conduct, Memorial Union. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect for disorderly conduct, obstructing, and bail jumping after they verbally abused and physically bumped a Amazon security officer working the concert.
4:52 pm, Other, Lake Mendota. OUW called because a kayak capsized near the UW swim area. Kayak swamped outside Swim area at the Terrace, LRAS assisted kayak and swimmer back to safety.

5:57 pm, Other, Regent Street. Contacted/Cited person for underage purchase of alcohol using fake ID (confiscated/destroyed), and underage possession of alcohol.
6:11 pm, Other, N. Park & Spring Streets. Cited person for Muni 1st UAL after observing an individual exit Regent Liquor with what appeared to be a bottle of alcohol and transfer it to their backpack in front of the Greenbush Bar, alcohol disposed of on scene.
6:44 pm, Other, Regent & N. Brook Streets. Contacted persons after observing suspicious behavior upon exiting Regent St. Liquor with purchased alcohol (disposed of on scene), both cited for Muni UAL 1st. Verbally Warned one for False ID (confiscated/destroyed) .
7:33 pm, Disorderly Conduct, East Campus Mall & University Ave. Contacted persons after someone made comments towards them that made them feel uncomfortable and attempted inappropriate contact to one person in their group.
8:26 pm, Check Person, N. Park & Regent Streets. Cited person for Muni 1st UAL after observing them exit Regent Liquor with alcohol. Verbally Warned for fake ID, confiscated and discarded. Disposed of alcohol on scene.

UAL 1st citations issued to several persons in attendance, one cited for use of sound amplification device, one contact was verbally warned for fake ID (confiscated/destroyed) and cited for UAL 1st.

Contacted person at local hospital after hospital security had taken items from person upon entry screening and requested transportation to residence to return items to their residence before returning to the hospital. Items were turned over to UWPD with consent from person, one item destroyed and one item placed into safe keeping with instructions on how to claim item later.

Contacted person after being struck in the left elbow while riding their bicycle by a frozen water bottle thrown at him from a passing vehicle that they just had an interaction with at the corner of N. Randall and University Ave. Investigation ongoing, report filed.
3:09 pm, Lost Property, MFCB. Contacted person who reported loss of UW-owned laptop to Med School and their attempts to locate and needed to file a police report with UWPD, Med School Cybersecurity and DoIT, report number provided to person.
6:43 pm, Other, Regent Street. Contacted/Cited persons for Municipal False ID after they collectively made purchases of alcohol at Regent Street Liquor and brought to campus (confiscated alcohol/destroyed ID’s), follow up with Regent Street Liquor regarding ID’s.
7:04 pm, Other, Residence Hall. Contacted/Cited persons for possession of alcohol and False ID (Municipal) (confiscated/destroyed).
7:46 pm, Other, Kohl Center. Attempted to contact persons, when I identified myself as “police” and they ran away, was able to confiscate alcohol, investigation ongoing.
11:15 pm, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contacted/Cited person for UAL 1st after they were seen with alcohol in their hand while walking in the hallway.
1:07 am, Underage Alcohol Violation, Residence Hall. Contacted person after they were found in the bathroom of Residence Hall, EMS denied, intoxicated not incapacitated, UAL citation to be issued at a later time.

3:13 pm, Assist Law Enforcement Agency, Local Hospital. Assisted outside agency regarding patient warrant, issued and collection kit placed into UWPD property for outside agency.
3:33 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 75. Contacted person who reported they witnessed a hit and run crash in Lot 75 near the handicap parking on the first level. Person saw another vehicle hit another vehicle in the lot, follow up being conducted and contacting both involved parties.

4:41 pm, Theft/Larceny, Union South. Contacted person regarding theft of their scooter from the north side of the building, suspect has been identified, PC filled out, UWPD will be notified when person reports to work for their next shift.
