  • 1:47 pm, Theft/Larceny, Engineering Centers Building. Contacted person who reported a battery pack taken from the basement of Engineering Centers Building.
  • 1:54 pm, Burglary, Residence Hall. Contacted person who reported the theft of theirs red UW-Madison Badgers basketball jersey from their dorm room.
  • 2:06 pm, Theft/Larceny, Memorial Union Terrace. Contacted person who reported items stolen from the Memorial Union Terrace.
  • 2:11 pm, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 20. Person pulled too far forward while entering Lot 20 and light bumped the articulated gate arm causing gate arm to push forward and is now hanging downward at an angle.
  • 2:47 pm, Theft/Larceny, Witte Residence Hall. Contacted person who reported their bike stolen from outside Witte Residence Hall.

After more than a year of community meetings, listening to concerns, and collecting feedback, the UW–Madison Police Department is embarking on a one-of-a-kind approach to sharing key data with a focus on racial equity.

The UWPD Equity Dashboard is the result of a collaboration with community members and stakeholders to develop a unique and powerful tool that promotes transparency and provides a set of success metrics that speak directly to the UWPD’s commitment to equity in policing.
