Yellow Tulip Project: Thursday, Oct. 10

On World Mental Health Day — Thursday, October 10th — join NAMI-UW, the UW-Madison Police Department, and Allen Centennial Garden in honoring the Yellow Tulip Project by planting a Hope Garden.

The Yellow Tulip Project’s focus is to smash the stigma surrounding mental illness and to build a community of people who realize that hope happens when youth and community leaders work together. The goal is transforming mental illness into something that’s as normal to talk about as any physical illness.

Join us and help us plant a garden of yellow tulips in the Allen Centennial Garden, which will blossom in the spring, symbolizing hope and perseverance:

Thursday, October 10 – 2:00 p.m.
Allen Centennial Garden, UW-Madison
