Join us on SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2019 for the 6th annual UWPD Dog Jog — a two-mile fun run/walk, with all proceeds benefiting the UWPD K9 Unit! Q106’s very own Jackson Jones will once again be our MC for the event!
This is an important event for UWPD, raising critical funds for our K9 Unit. These funds help ensure our dogs are properly trained and certified.
The festivities are in Lot 60 near University Hospital, right next to the Lakeshore Path — look for the UWPD banners and signs! Music and registration begin at 8:00 a.m.
- 9:30 a.m. – K9 demos: we will also have all three of our K9’s on hand — Kobalt, Ritter, and Maya — get an up-close look at them, and learn how they work in the field. They accept free head scratches as well. 🙂
- 10:00 a.m. – Two-mile fun run/walk begins!
Cost is $25 in advance when you register here online. Or, register the day of for $30. You’re encouraged to dress up your four-legged friend in their favorite costume. Bonus points if it’s Star Wars related — May the 4th (force) be with you!
